Where it came from
Brick City is a popular series of books authored by Warren Elsmore, designed to capture iconic world landmarks using LEGO bricks. The Paris edition specifically serves as a guide for enthusiasts and builders, providing instructions and inspiration to recreate the city's most recognizable architectural features, such as the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe, using standard plastic building elements.
The publication was developed as part of a broader movement to elevate LEGO building from a child's pastime to a sophisticated form of architectural modeling. Elsmore, a renowned professional LEGO artist, curated these projects to be accessible to hobbyists while maintaining a focus on structural accuracy and aesthetic detail. The series has been widely received as a definitive resource for AFOLs (Adult Fans of LEGO) looking to translate real-world urban landscapes into miniature, brick-built forms.
