Bricksy: Unauthorized Underground Brick Street Art was published in 2016 by Skyhorse Publishing as a creative homage to the elusive street artist Banksy. The concept was developed by artist Jeff Friesen, who utilized plastic building bricks to meticulously recreate iconic street art installations. The project emerged during a period of rising interest in pop-culture-themed photography using modular building systems.
