Where it came from
Released in 2006 as part of the Bionicle range, Brutaka served as a major antagonist during the Voya Nui story arc. The character was conceptualized as a powerful, former member of the Order of Mata Nui who had been corrupted, reflecting the darker tone the franchise adopted during the mid-2000s.
The set was designed by the Lego design team to represent a formidable warrior, utilizing a substantial build that towered over the standard Toa sets of the period. Featuring a unique color scheme of bright blue and gold, it was well-received by fans for its complex construction and the inclusion of dual bladed weapons, which cemented its status as a standout titan-class figure in the Bionicle lineup.
