Chicken Suit Guy

The Chicken Suit Guy was released in 2013 as part of Series 9 of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures line, an initiative designed to offer unique, standalone characters that complement standard LEGO sets. This series emerged at a time when the minifigure-only mystery bags had already become a global phenomenon, encouraging fans to trade and build niche collections. The design features a distinct molded chicken suit element that encases the minifigure torso, reflecting the company’s shift toward more creative and character-driven accessories that go beyond traditional occupations or movie-licensed archetypes.

The figure was conceptualized by the LEGO design team to serve as a whimsical, humorous addition to the lineup, drawing on the long-standing tradition of mascots within the brand's lore. Its popularity was immediate among adult collectors and children alike, largely due to its expressive printed facial features and the playfulness of the costume piece. Because of this high demand, the character has since been reissued in various forms, including as a promotional item and within larger commemorative sets, cementing its status as one of the most recognizable icons in the history of the Collectible Minifigures theme.
