Where it came from
The Christmas Town Square set, released in 2017 as part of the seasonal holiday collection, was designed to capture the nostalgic essence of a festive village common. Created to complement the larger Winter Village sub-theme, it serves as a smaller, decorative expansion piece that provides essential community infrastructure like a holiday tree, a vendor stand, and a bus stop to populate a seasonal display.
The design prioritizes accessibility and charm, featuring a color palette dominated by classic Christmas greens, reds, and bright whites. It was well-received by collectors for its inclusion of a unique micro-scale train model and a variety of minifigures, which added life to the miniature townscapes that many enthusiasts assemble during the winter months.
