Where it came from
The 5000646-1 City Poster was produced by the LEGO Group as part of a promotional campaign intended to celebrate the expansive cityscape subtheme. It was released to showcase the intricate architectural diversity and interconnected nature of the City sets, providing fans with a visual guide to the various service vehicles, modular buildings, and minifigure-scale scenarios that defined the aesthetic of the era.
The illustration work captures a vibrant, high-energy metropolitan environment characteristic of early 2000s branding. The design team focused on creating a dense, bustling atmosphere that highlighted both emergency services and civilian life, ensuring that the poster served as both a marketing tool and an aspirational display piece for enthusiasts looking to expand their own personal layouts.
