Where it came from
The LEGO Creator Daffodils set 40747-1 was released as part of the broader Botanical Collection, a series designed to provide a sophisticated, buildable alternative to traditional floral arrangements. Launched to appeal to adult fans of LEGO, the set focuses on aesthetic display value, allowing builders to construct four distinct daffodil blooms that mimic the seasonal arrival of spring.
The design emphasizes accessibility and modularity, utilizing clever parts usage to capture the organic, trumpet-like shape of the flowers. It was received favorably by the collecting community for its balance between simplicity and effective color-blocking, positioning it as a popular entry-level set for those interested in home décor projects rather than traditional complex builds.
