Where it came from
The LEGO Easter Decorations set, identified by model number 40890-1, was released as a seasonal offering to celebrate the spring holiday. It fits into the broader tradition of LEGO seasonal promotional sets, which are designed as accessible, small-scale builds that capture the aesthetic of specific festivities through simplified brick-built figures and accessories.
The design prioritizes charm and seasonal recognition, featuring a buildable chick and rabbit set within a decorated frame. Consistent with the design language of LEGO's seasonal line, it emphasizes bright colors and a display-oriented format that appeals to builders looking for temporary desk or shelf decor. Upon its release, it was generally received as a thoughtful, low-entry-point item for seasonal hobbyists and collectors of holiday-themed LEGO sets.
