F14 T & Scuderia Ferrari Truck

Released in 2015 as part of the inaugural wave of the LEGO Speed Champions theme, the F14 T & Scuderia Ferrari Truck set was designed to capture the high-stakes world of Formula 1 racing. This set emerged as LEGO sought to bridge the gap between their technical build heritage and the sleek, licensed aesthetics of contemporary racing brands. It provided a detailed recreation of the 2014 F14 T race car alongside a modular Scuderia Ferrari transport truck, focusing on playability and the mechanical complexity of a pit crew environment.

The design process centered on translating the aerodynamic curves of the F14 T into the medium of small-scale bricks, a challenge that required the use of specialized stickers to replicate sponsors and livery details. Upon its release, the set was noted for its balance between the functional design of the hauler and the collector appeal of the race car.
