Fast

The 7967-1 Fast set was released in 2011 as part of the LEGO Cars 2 product line, which was developed to coincide with the theatrical release of the Disney-Pixar film of the same name. The set captures the character Francesco Bernoulli, the sleek Italian Formula 1 race car who serves as Lightning McQueen's primary rival in the film. The design focuses on recreating the character's distinct red, white, and green Italian livery and aerodynamic frame, utilizing the unique chassis system designed specifically for the Cars character range.

This set was developed by the LEGO design team to provide an accessible build for a younger demographic, emphasizing playability and character accuracy over complex construction techniques. As part of a larger wave of merchandising tied to the film, it was aimed at both young fans of the movie franchise and collectors of character-based LEGO sets. While the Cars 2 line was widely distributed and popular among children, the specific character-based sets are now primarily sought after by enthusiasts looking to complete their cinematic vehicle displays.
