Where it came from
The Forx figure, identified by set number 41546-1, was released in 2015 as part of the Lego Mixels series four collection. These small, buildable characters were born from a collaborative effort between the Lego Group and Cartoon Network, intended to encourage creative play through modular construction where pieces could be combined to form larger 'max' figures. The series was characterized by its distinct, quirky aesthetics and an emphasis on personality-driven designs that moved away from the traditional minifigure format.
Forx was designed as one of the members of the 'Orbitons' tribe, a group inspired by space exploration themes. The figure features a functional aesthetic typical of the line, utilizing specialized joints and printed components to achieve a compact yet articulated form. Upon release, the Mixels line was generally well-received by fans and collectors for its accessibility, affordability, and the whimsical, imaginative character designs that provided a refreshing alternative to the larger, narrative-heavy sets of the era.
