Where it came from
Gorzan's Walker (set 30262-1) was released in 2013 as part of the LEGO Legends of Chima theme. Designed as a promotional polybag set, it represents the character Gorzan, the leader of the Gorilla Tribe, in his signature mech-like vehicle. The set was created to bolster interest in the newly launched Chima line, which featured a high-fantasy narrative centered on tribes of animal-humanoid warriors battling for the control of a powerful energy source known as Chi.
The design utilizes a compact build to capture the rugged, primate-inspired aesthetic associated with the Gorilla Tribe. It features adjustable arms and a small cockpit, reflecting the theme's focus on customizable vehicles that could traverse the various terrains of the kingdom of Chima. As a smaller promotional item, it was primarily distributed through retail incentives and LEGO store events, serving as an accessible entry point for fans to collect key character figures and play-focused builds from the early waves of the franchise.
