Where it came from
The Green Dragon figure, cataloged as GREENDRAGON-1, emerged as a whimsical representation of mythical creature archetypes popular in tabletop gaming and fantasy hobby culture. Designed to serve as a versatile centerpiece, it was crafted with an emphasis on expressive posture and traditional reptilian scales, reflecting a mid-tier aesthetic standard for collector-grade figurines of its era.
The conceptual roots of this piece are grounded in the late twentieth-century fantasy art movement, which sought to bring static illustrations to three-dimensional form. While the specific artist is not widely credited, the design was well-received by enthusiasts of the genre for its balance of anatomical detail and ease of display, establishing it as a reliable staple for those building immersive, lore-focused collections.
