Where it came from
The Harpy minifigure was released in 2024 as part of the LEGO Minifigures Series 25, designated as set 71045. This series continued the company's long-standing tradition of offering blind-bagged, highly detailed character figures, often featuring specialized molds and dual-molded limbs that distinguish them from standard set-exclusive minifigures.
The design of the Harpy draws heavily from classical Greek mythology, featuring a unique bird-like headpiece and specialized wing elements that attach to the torso. The figure was crafted to showcase the technical advancements in LEGO accessory design, specifically the integration of organic, avian features onto a traditional minifigure silhouette to evoke a creature of myth.
