Where it came from
The LEGO Fortnite Supply Llama (set 77081-1) was released in 2024 as part of a strategic collaboration between the LEGO Group and Epic Games. The set draws inspiration from the iconic Supply Llama, a loot-filled character originating from the Battle Royale game mode of Fortnite, which has become one of the most recognizable mascots within modern gaming culture.
The design of the set focuses on translating the distinct, stylized aesthetic of the virtual Supply Llama into a physical brick-built form. By utilizing a vibrant color palette and geometric construction techniques, the design team aimed to capture the character's whimsical personality while maintaining the tactile satisfaction synonymous with LEGO building. Upon release, the set was positioned as a collectible for gamers and builders alike, serving as a bridge between digital fandom and traditional construction play.
