Where it came from
The LEGO DREAMZzz World Builder set, identified as 12007-1, was released as a promotional polybag intended to introduce fans to the creative, fluid aesthetic of the DREAMZzz theme. This product line was developed by LEGO to explore the concept of dream logic, moving away from rigid building instructions to encourage children to customize and 'rebuild' their creations using modular components. It serves as a narrative-driven entry point into the wider world where imagination shapes physical reality.
The design of these parts emphasizes vibrant, translucent colors and unconventional shapes that distinguish the theme from the more grounded LEGO City or Technic lines. By focusing on versatile elements, the set was designed to foster experimentation and creative problem-solving. While intended primarily as a mass-market promotional item to generate interest in the broader DREAMZzz multimedia franchise, it has been noted by collectors for its utility in providing specialized building components.
