Where it came from
Released in 2015 alongside the multi-platform video game launch, this promotional set—officially identified as 5004807-1—was created as a retail incentive to accompany the Wii U version of LEGO Jurassic World. The set centers on a small, buildable Gallimimus enclosure, reflecting the film's iconic scenes and the playful aesthetic inherent to the LEGO brand's interpretation of blockbuster cinema.
The design follows the traditional polybag format common for promotional LEGO tie-ins, featuring a minifigure of a Jurassic World park employee alongside the dinosaur model. By distilling the massive scope of the Jurassic Park franchise into a compact, accessible build, the set was intended to offer younger players a tangible connection to the game's virtual environments, emphasizing the brand's focus on interactivity and collectible expansion.
