Where it came from
The LEGO Star Wars Super Pack (66473-1) was released around 2013 as part of a recurring retail strategy by the LEGO Group to bundle multiple individual sets into a single package. These packs were typically distributed as exclusive offerings for large-scale retailers during the holiday season, serving as a value-oriented incentive for shoppers by combining smaller, distinct kits from the ongoing Star Wars theme into one larger box.
The design of this specific pack aggregates sets 75000 (Clone Troopers vs. Droidekas) and 75002 (AT-RT). By combining these battle packs and vehicles, the manufacturer aimed to provide a comprehensive starter experience for collectors and children alike, centering on the prequel era's Clone Wars aesthetic. While the individual components were praised for their playability and minifigure inclusion, the super packs were generally viewed by the broader collecting community as a practical, space-saving retail solution rather than a unique design achievement in its own right.
