Where it came from
Released in 2024 to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the LEGO Star Wars partnership, this large-format coffee table book was designed as a definitive retrospective of the collaboration. It was conceived to celebrate the evolution of the brand from its 1999 debut, gathering archival materials, concept art, and developer interviews to document the creative process behind the sets that have defined the theme.
The book was curated to offer a high-end experience for adult collectors, packaged in a slipcase that includes a time capsule of artifacts such as early product brochures and collectible cards. While the design aims for a sophisticated aesthetic, its primary goal is to provide a grounded, historical account of the partnership between The LEGO Group and Lucasfilm, serving as both a design showcase and a commemorative piece for long-time enthusiasts.
