Where it came from
The LEGOLAND Entrance with Family, set 40115, was released in 2014 as an exclusive merchandise item sold primarily at LEGOLAND theme park gift shops. Designed to capture the experience of a family visit to the parks, the set features a brick-built entrance archway inspired by the iconic signage found at park gates, complete with a turnstile and a ticket booth. It serves as a commemorative souvenir for park attendees rather than a standard retail release.
The set includes four minifigures—a father, a mother, and two children—reflecting the target demographic of the parks. The design is straightforward and modular, leaning into the aesthetic of classic LEGOLAND park models which emphasize accessibility and recognizable branding. While it did not garner major critical reviews due to its niche status as a park-exclusive, it remains a sought-after piece for collectors of LEGO theme park-related memorabilia and commemorative sets.
