Where it came from
The Lost City (set 910042-1) was released as part of the BrickLink Designer Program Series 1 in 2024. The program was established to give fan designers an opportunity to have their creations produced as official, limited-run sets, allowing community-driven builds to reach a wider audience beyond the digital conceptual phase.
Designed by fan creator letrangerabs, the Lost City captures an aesthetic of ancient, overgrown ruins, drawing inspiration from themes of exploration and archaeology. The design utilizes complex stonework textures and integrated greenery to evoke a sense of a forgotten civilization, and its release was well-received by collectors who prioritize display-oriented, intricate architectural builds.
