Mailman on Motorcycle

The Mailman on Motorcycle set, released under the number 6622 in 1997, emerged during a period when the manufacturer was expanding its town-themed promotional polybags. These small-scale sets were designed for accessibility, often serving as inexpensive impulse buys or point-of-sale items that complemented larger cityscapes. The set features a classic minifigure postal worker equipped with a red motorcycle and a small parcel, reflecting the brand's long-standing tradition of depicting everyday municipal services.

The design of this set follows the minimalist aesthetic characteristic of 1990s Town-theme releases, prioritizing functional playability over complex building techniques. It was intended to integrate seamlessly into existing layouts, providing children with a recognizable figure for urban roleplay. While not a centerpiece of the collection, it remains a nostalgic example of the era's focus on essential service roles, and it was generally well-received for its simplicity and the inclusion of a specific, thematic accessory piece.
