Mia's Lemonade Stand

Released in 2014 as part of the Lego Friends theme, Mia's Lemonade Stand was designed to capture the cheerful, imaginative aesthetic of the line. The Friends sets were developed by Lego to provide a more character-driven building experience, utilizing a unique color palette and mini-doll figures that differed from the traditional minifigures found in other Lego collections. This specific set was intended to be an accessible, entry-level build, focusing on everyday roleplay scenarios centered around the character of Mia.

The design emphasizes a vibrant, summery aesthetic, featuring a small stand constructed with bright colors and thematic accessories like a lemon-shaped sign, a blender, and a crate of fruit. Upon its release, it was well-received by fans of the series for its charm and utility in expanding existing Lego city layouts. It remains a representative example of the early design language of the Friends theme, which prioritized detailed accessory pieces and a soft, inviting color scheme to appeal to a younger demographic.
