Mobile Command Centre

The Mobile Command Centre, released in 2008 as part of the LEGO Agents line, represents a period of experimentation within the company’s original intellectual properties. Designed to anchor the high-tech, espionage-themed narrative of the series, the set reflects an aesthetic influenced by late-2000s action cinema and spy fiction. It was developed to offer a large-scale playset experience that combined multiple vehicles and modular command stations into a single cohesive unit, appealing to children who favored complex builds and integrated play features.

The design team emphasized utility and versatility, creating a vehicle that could transform from a transport truck into a comprehensive mobile base. Upon its release, the set was noted for its departure from traditional town-based aesthetics, leaning instead into a militaristic, futuristic visual language. The set was well-received by the community for its mechanical complexity and the density of its play features, remaining a representative example of the short-lived but fondly remembered Agents theme.
