Where it came from
The Nonnie figure released for the 2017 Inside Tour represents a specialized collectible produced by the LEGO Group for their annual exclusive event held at the company’s headquarters in Billund, Denmark. This event is designed to offer a select group of fans an intimate look at the design process, providing access to the inner workings of the company and a unique set that commemorates their visit to the birthplace of the brand.
The figure serves as a tribute to the legacy of the Kirk Kristiansen family, specifically honoring the matriarch whose presence is central to the company’s history. The design emphasizes a classic, understated aesthetic consistent with the event's tradition of creating meaningful, limited-run mementos for participants who engage directly with the designers and staff during these tours.
