Released in 2002 as part of the initial wave of Bionicle Bohrok, the Nuhvok Va represents the small, crab-like 'krana-carrier' caste of the Bohrok swarm. Designed by the Lego Group to serve as a companion piece to the larger Nuhvok set, the Va was conceptualized as a maintenance worker within the fictional mythology of Mata Nui. Its construction utilizes a simplified Technic-based frame, emphasizing the functional utility of its design compared to the more complex action-oriented mechanisms of the standard-sized Bohrok.
