Where it came from
The Nyíregyháza Factory set, cataloged as 4000011, was produced by the LEGO Group in 2011 as a commemorative gift for employees working at the company's manufacturing facility in Nyíregyháza, Hungary. These internal sets are designed as exclusive tokens of appreciation to mark significant milestones, such as the opening of a new factory wing or a specific anniversary of the site’s operations.
The design of the set reflects the architectural aesthetic of the LEGO production buildings, focusing on a simplified, modular representation of the factory floor and office exterior. Created by the LEGO internal design team, the set maintains a professional, industrial look consistent with corporate gift sets, prioritizing a clean geometric representation of the workplace rather than the complex play features found in retail products. It was never released for general sale, making it a distinct piece of corporate memorabilia within the company's history.
