Where it came from
The Paddy Wagon, set number 3639-1, was released in 2008 as a promotional item under the LEGO brand. It was developed to coincide with the release of the Indiana Jones film, 'Kingdom of the Crystal Skull', specifically representing the vehicle used during the high-speed chase sequence through the Marshall College campus.
The model was designed as a compact, utilitarian build that captures the vintage aesthetic of a 1950s-era police transport. While it was a smaller addition to the broader Indiana Jones product line, it was noted by collectors for its inclusion of a unique minifigure and its ability to fit seamlessly into the complex, multi-vehicle scenes that characterized the licensed theme's initial run.
