Pahrak Va

Released in 2002 as part of the Bionicle line, the Pahrak Va set belongs to the McToran sub-series, which represented the villagers of Mata Nui. These sets were designed to serve as functional companions to the larger Bohrok enemies, acting as their scouts and aides. The design language was simplified to reflect their role as smaller, secondary characters, utilizing a compact build that allowed for a distinct silhouette while remaining consistent with the aesthetic of the wider Bionicle universe.

The Bionicle theme was developed by Lego to revitalize the company's financial standing at the turn of the millennium through a deep, transmedia narrative. The Pahrak Va, specifically, was engineered to interact with the larger Pahrak canister sets, featuring a connection point that allowed the smaller figure to be mounted onto the back of its larger counterpart.
