Peely & Sparkplug's Camp

Released in 2024 as part of the LEGO Fortnite collaboration, this set brings the digital aesthetics of the Fortnite universe into the physical realm. The design captures the whimsical nature of the characters Peely and Sparkplug, focusing on a campsite environment that reflects the build-and-survive gameplay mechanics players encounter within the game. It was developed to bridge the gap between the virtual battle royale experience and the tactile world of brick-building, marking a significant crossover for both the gaming and construction toy industries.

The set was conceived as a lighthearted tribute to fan-favorite character skins, with an emphasis on recognizable accessories and modularity that allows for creative play. Its reception has been largely defined by its appeal to the active Fortnite player base and collectors of pop-culture-themed sets. The design team sought to distill the complex, stylized appearance of in-game character models into approachable LEGO minifigures while maintaining the distinct personality traits associated with the Peely banana-man and the technician Sparkplug.
