Where it came from
This minifigure of Pinocchio was released in 2023 as part of the Disney 100 series of LEGO Collectible Minifigures, designated as set 71038-2. The set was created to commemorate the centennial of The Walt Disney Company, featuring an curated selection of iconic characters spanning the studio's history from the classic animated era to contemporary films.
The figure features a custom-molded headpiece designed to capture Pinocchio’s distinctive wooden nose and hat, reflecting the character's 1940 film appearance. It includes a printed torso representing his traditional peasant attire and a small printed accessory depicting the Blue Fairy's wand. The design was received favorably by collectors for its attention to character-specific detail and the faithful translation of the hand-drawn animation style into the LEGO form factor.
