Planetary Prowler / Odonata

The Planetary Prowler, released in 1999 as part of the short-lived LEGO Roboforce sub-theme, represents a distinct period of experimental design within the LEGO Group. Developed during a time when the company was exploring more aggressive, science-fiction-oriented narratives, the set features a heavy-duty, robotic-themed vehicle piloted by a specialized minifigure. The design reflects a departure from the classic space themes of the preceding decades, favoring a more industrial and angular aesthetic that utilized newly developed parts to achieve its functional 'prowler' look.

The Odonata is a smaller, companion aircraft included within the set, designed to complement the ground unit with aerial reconnaissance capabilities.
