Professor Frink

Professor Frink was introduced as part of the second series of The Simpsons LEGO Minifigure collection, released in 2015 to celebrate the long-running animated series. Designed by the LEGO Group under license from 20th Century Fox, the figure captures the eccentric inventor with his signature wild hair, thick glasses, and laboratory attire. This series was created to allow fans to collect iconic characters from the show who were not featured in larger play sets, drawing directly from the aesthetic established by Matt Groening's character designs.

The figure reflects the meticulous attention to detail characteristic of the LEGO Minifigure series, utilizing a custom molded headpiece to represent Frink's distinctive hairstyle. Upon its release, the series was well-received by both LEGO enthusiasts and animation fans for its high level of character accuracy and the inclusion of printed details that represent Frink’s chaotic laboratory inventions. It remains a notable example of how the brand translates two-dimensional animation styles into three-dimensional plastic forms.
