Where it came from
Released in 2016 as part of the Disney Princess theme, Rapunzel's Best Day Ever (41065-1) was designed to capture the iconic boat scene from the 2010 film Tangled. The set includes a small brick-built version of the kingdom’s canal, a boat, and a tower, catering to the growing market for smaller, narrative-focused playsets intended for younger builders.
The set features mini-doll figures of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. Designers focused on integrating recognizable accessories from the film, such as the lantern and the frying pan, to enhance the play experience. Upon its release, it was well-received by fans of the Disney Princess line for providing an accessible entry point to the Tangled story within the system.
