Where it came from
The Scout Trooper, designated as set 912307-1, was released in 2012 as a promotional polybag set within the LEGO Star Wars theme. It was designed to provide fans with a small, accessible representation of the Biker Scouts first seen on the forest moon of Endor in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi. The set highlights the iconic white armor and helmet design of the Empire's specialized reconnaissance units, distilled into the standard LEGO minifigure format.
These promotional polybags were primarily distributed through various retail partnerships and special event promotions during the early 2010s to bolster interest in the broader Star Wars product line. While the design is minimalist, it captured the essential aesthetic of the source material accurately, making it a popular choice for collectors looking to build out their Imperial army displays. It remains a notable entry for those focusing on the diversity of characters found in the Galactic Empire's ranks.
