Where it came from
The Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 art prints are part of an exclusive series commissioned specifically for the fan convention held in Chiba. These prints represent a collaborative effort between Lucasfilm and a curated selection of contemporary artists, designed to celebrate the deep cultural connection between the Star Wars franchise and Japanese aesthetics, ranging from traditional ukiyo-e influences to modern anime-inspired styles.
The collection was conceived to provide attendees with limited-edition keepsakes that encapsulate the themes of the saga through a distinct regional lens. Artists participating in this official program were tasked with reinterpreting iconic characters and vistas, and the resulting works were debuted at the Celebration Art Show to highlight the evolution of Star Wars fan art culture on a global stage.
