Where it came from
The LEGO Storage Head Small (Girl), designated as item 5005522-1, was produced as part of a line of licensed storage solutions designed to resemble the iconic minifigure aesthetic. These containers were manufactured by Room Copenhagen under an official partnership with the LEGO Group, aimed at blending organizational utility with the playful design language of the brand. The head features the classic female minifigure expression, utilizing a durable, stackable polypropylene construction that mirrors the proportions of an oversized LEGO head.
The design draws directly from the standardized minifigure silhouette, a hallmark of LEGO’s brand identity since the late 1970s. The 'Girl' variation specifically incorporates a friendly, smiling expression with printed eyelashes, intended to offer consumers a recognizable and thematic way to store loose bricks or household items. Upon release, the series was well-received by collectors and parents alike for providing a whimsical storage alternative to conventional plastic bins, effectively turning functional home organization into a display piece that complements the broader LEGO ecosystem.
