Ultimate General Magmar

Ultimate General Magmar was released in 2016 as part of the LEGO Nexo Knights Ultimate subtheme. This line was designed to bridge the gap between traditional construction sets and digital play, featuring characters equipped with a variety of accessories and specialized 'Nexo Power' shields that could be scanned into a mobile application. The set was created during a period when the brand was heavily invested in transmedia storytelling, integrating physical sets with a tie-in animated television series.

The character design for General Magmar reflects the aggressive, lava-themed aesthetic of the Nexo Knights antagonists.
