Where it came from
Released in 2012, this Star Wars Super Pack was part of a tradition of holiday-season value bundles offered by the LEGO Group to consolidate existing retail sets. By combining multiple smaller kits into a single box under a new set number, the company aimed to provide a comprehensive gift option that offered consumers a slight value incentive while streamlining inventory during the peak shopping period.
The 66479-1 Super Pack features three distinct sets from the Star Wars theme: the 75000 Clone Troopers vs. Droidekas, 75001 Republic Troopers vs. Sith Troopers, and 75002 AT-RT. These models reflect the aesthetic and design principles of the late-2012 wave, focusing on troop-building and vehicle-focused play sets that highlighted the Clone Wars era. As a bundle, it was designed for retail convenience, appealing to gift-givers who wanted a larger-looking box under the tree.
