Visorak Keelerak

The Visorak Keelerak was released in 2005 as part of the Bionicle line, specifically within the Visorak sub-theme that launched the year's narrative arc. These spider-like Rahi were depicted in the lore as the mutated servants of Sidorak and Roodaka, designed to terrorize the city of Metru Nui. The set was created during a period when the Bionicle design team was experimenting with more organic, creature-based builds compared to the earlier Toa-focused sets.

The design of the Keelerak prioritized the unique Rhotuka spinner function, a play feature central to the 2005 product line that allowed the mechanical spider to launch a plastic disc. Visually, the set utilized a distinct dark green and black color palette with lime green accents to signify its specific elemental affiliation. Like many Bionicle sets of the era, the construction relied on a mix of Technic components and specialized ball-joint limb pieces, a system that had become the hallmark of the theme's aesthetic and modular building experience.
