Provenance

Where it came from

Bounce was released in 2023 as part of the Rise of the Floodborn set for the Disney Lorcana trading card game. Developed by Ravensburger, the set expanded upon the game's initial launch by introducing the concept of Floodborn characters—versions of beloved Disney figures transformed by the game's magical ink. As an action card, Bounce provides a tactical utility that allows players to return a character to their hand, offering a flexible way to protect cards or trigger 'play' effects multiple times.

The card features artwork that reflects the whimsical, story-driven aesthetic central to the Disney Lorcana brand. The design is intended to capture the feeling of the 1963 film The Sword in the Stone, specifically referencing the scene where Merlin magically manipulates his surroundings. The card was met with appreciation from the competitive community for its versatility and efficiency, solidifying its place as a staple in various deck archetypes within the game's evolving meta.
