Everything Else Is Obsolete

Everything Else Is Obsolete was released as part of the Hyperia City set, a thematic card expansion centered on the aesthetics of high-tech urban decay and industrial transition. The card was designed to function as an action-oriented utility, mechanically reinforcing the set's central narrative regarding the displacement of older technology by rapidly evolving infrastructure. It reflects the broader design philosophy of Hyperia City, which prioritized minimalist, cold-toned visuals to complement its cyberpunk-inspired world-building.

The illustrative work for the card was created by the in-house development team during the expansion's primary development phase, aiming to capture the stark contrast between antiquated machinery and the shimmering, futuristic skyline of the titular city. Upon its release, it was categorized as a common card, intended to provide players with accessible tactical options during gameplay. It was generally well-received by the player base for its thematic relevance and efficient utility within the Hyperia City deck structures.
