Identity Echo // Identity Echo

Identity Echo originates from the Reality Fracture Art Series, a set centered on the intersection of speculative surrealism and digital aesthetics. It was produced to explore the concept of the self through the lens of refraction and digital distortion, utilizing layered textures to suggest a personality split across multiple dimensions. The series itself grew out of a mid-2020s movement among graphic artists seeking to push the boundaries of card-based visual storytelling beyond traditional fantasy tropes.

The piece was designed to challenge the observer's perception of continuity, employing a palette of monochromatic greys punctuated by sharp, geometric color bursts. It was commissioned to highlight the technical versatility of the printing process, specifically regarding holographic foil application on card stock. Upon its release, the card received critical praise within niche design circles for its minimalist approach to complex, abstract subject matter, establishing it as a hallmark of the series' experimental identity.
