Where it came from
The Mirror Mirror card was released as part of the Oversized League Prizes, a specialized promotional series distributed through organized play events. These oversized cards were designed as unique collectibles for dedicated players, intended to commemorate specific competitive seasons or community milestones within the game's broader competitive landscape.
The design aesthetic for the Oversized League Prizes series typically emphasized expanded, high-resolution artwork that allowed for a greater appreciation of the card's illustration compared to the standard format. While the artists for individual pieces in this series vary, the visual direction consistently aimed to balance functional gaming utility with a prestige display quality that appealed to tournament enthusiasts and franchise completists.
