Quark, Humble Proprietor

Quark, Humble Proprietor was released as part of the Star Trek Customizable Card Game, produced by Decipher, Inc. during the late 1990s. The card depicts the iconic Ferengi bartender from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, capturing his role as a profit-seeking entrepreneur operating on the edge of the Bajoran wormhole. The design follows the game's standard format of featuring a high-quality still from the television series, intended to immerse players in the specific political and economic tensions of the Deep Space Nine setting.

The card was designed to reflect Quark's character arc, focusing on his resourcefulness and his complex relationship with the various factions that frequented his bar. Within the game's mechanics, the card emphasizes his status as a non-aligned character who benefits from the interplay between different Star Trek affiliations.
