Vengeful Dreams was originally released as a rare card in the 2001 Torment expansion for Magic: The Gathering. As part of the World Championship Decks 2003, this specific printing features a commemorative gold border and a silver stamp on the card back, identifying it as part of the specialized product line intended to replicate the decks played by top-tier competitors at the world championships. These decks were produced to allow casual players to experience the high-level strategies and card combinations that defined the professional circuit during that era.
