Xantid Swarm

Xantid Swarm was released in 2003 as part of the Scourge expansion, the final set in the Onslaught block of the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. Developed by Wizards of the Coast, the set focused on high-cost spells and complex mechanics, with this particular creature card designed to provide a tactical countermeasure against decks that relied on casting spells during an opponent's turn, effectively locking down interactive play during the combat phase.

The card’s illustration was created by artist Heather Hudson, who has contributed to numerous sets throughout the game's history.
