A History of the Donaldson Family and Its Connections

A History of the Donaldson Family and Its Connections was compiled by Warren A. Donaldson as a dedicated genealogical study. Published in the mid-20th century, the volume serves as a comprehensive record of the Donaldson lineage, documenting the migration, marriage alliances, and broader social development of the family unit within the United States. It functions primarily as a primary resource for researchers of local history and genealogy.

The design of the work follows the tradition of mid-century private family archives, prioritizing textual accuracy and documentary evidence over ornamentation. It emerged from a period of heightened interest in American familial history and lineage preservation. Like many genealogical texts of its era, it was intended for limited distribution among family members and historical societies, where it remains a respected reference for those tracing the specific branches of the Donaldson line.
