Beatles Worldwide: An Anthology of Original LP-releases in More Than 40 Countries, 1962-1972

Christoph Maus compiled this extensive reference work to serve as a comprehensive catalog for discographers and historians interested in the global distribution of Beatles vinyl. Published in the early 2000s, the book documents the immense variety of packaging and pressing variations that emerged as the band’s music was exported and localized across more than 40 different countries between 1962 and 1972.

The design of the anthology reflects its intent as a scholarly tool, prioritizing visual clarity and detailed metadata for each entry. It provides a detailed look at the diverse cover art and regional nuances that define the international collecting market for the band. The work was well-received within the specialist music-collecting community for its rigor and the sheer breadth of international releases it managed to organize into a single, accessible volume.
