Berserk Deluxe Volume 7

Berserk Deluxe Volume 7 is part of a premium hardcover collection published by Dark Horse Comics, designed to present Kentaro Miura’s seminal dark fantasy manga in an oversized format. The series began its original run in Japan in 1989, and this specific edition serves as a retrospective project aimed at archival-quality preservation, collecting volumes 19 through 21 of the original Japanese tankōbon. The initiative to compile the series into these distinct, foil-stamped faux-leather volumes was launched to honor Miura’s legacy and provide readers with a durable way to experience his intricate, highly detailed pen-and-ink illustrations.

The aesthetic of this edition is defined by its austere, minimalist cover design and high-quality paper stock, intended to mirror the gravity of the narrative themes Miura explored. Since its inception, the deluxe series has been widely praised by fans and critics for elevating the readability of the dense, expansive battle scenes that characterize the Millennium Falcon arc found within this volume. It stands as a testament to Miura’s meticulous draughtsmanship and his profound influence on the dark fantasy genre, functioning both as a reading copy and a collectible tribute to the artist's life work.
